Regular Season Divisions – Softball
Tee Ball Softball
Tee Ball Softball is a non-competitive division for players league age 4–6. All players bat and play the field each inning, and no scores are kept. Games are played on Saturday mornings and last about 60 minutes. Players are placed on teams primarily by school or geographic area by the league Player Agent. League-age 7 players may participate with the Player Agent’s permission.
A Softball
A Softball is a non-competitive division primarily for players league age 6–7. Players age 6 are also eligible if they have already played one year of Tee Ball and are ready to move up. Pitching is done by adult-operated pitching machines. Rules are modified to give each player more opportunities to excel. Games are played on weeknights and Saturdays (times vary) and last about 2 hours. Players are placed on teams primarily by school or geographic area by the Player Agent. Roster size depends on available players and coaches.
AA Softball
AA Softball is a non-competitive division primarily for league age 7–8. Pitching is done by machines, and players also learn pitching fundamentals in preparation for AAA player pitch. Games are played on weeknights and Saturdays (~2 hours). Players are placed on teams primarily by school or geographic area by the Player Agent. Roster size depends on available players and coaches.
AAA Softball
AAA Softball is for league age 9–11, and age 8 players ready to move beyond AA. This is the first level of player pitch, intended to develop pitching and hitting skills prior to Majors. Games are on weeknights and Saturdays (~2 hours) and may include inter-league travel. Players attend at least one skills assessment (highly recommended to attend both). Teams are drafted after skills assessments. Roster size depends on available players and coaches.
Majors Softball
Majors Softball is a competitive division for league age 9–12. Skills assessments are required (highly recommended to attend both). Games on weeknights and Saturdays (~2 hours), with inter-league travel. Teams are drafted after skills assessments. Roster size is 12–13 depending on availability.
Junior/Senior Softball
Junior/Senior Softball is competitive for league age 12–16. Skills assessments are required (highly recommended to attend both). Games are on weeknights and Saturday doubleheaders (~2 hours). Inter-league travel is included. Teams are drafted after skills assessments. Roster size is 12–13 depending on availability.
