Welcome to North Kitsap Little League!

Fundraising General Information

We are often asked, "Why fundraise? I paid my registration fee and that covers the cost."  In an ideal world it would...but then your registration fee would be a LOT higher!  On average it takes about $140,000 to operate Snider Park for a year, and that figure relies on volunteers to do all the heavy lifting.  Thanks to the concession stand income, grants, donations, sponorships, etc. NKLL is able to cover the gap between what we receive in registration fees and the actual cost of operations.

We are asking you to help us fundraise this year to help with additional projects around the park that are not in the operating budget.  We would love to install lights on A field and the Lindley Smith 90' Field, install a new back stop on C Field, build a score-booth on D Field and other improvements that cost money and take time that simply cannot be funded on the limited budget that NKLL has to operate with.  By simply donating to a specific player ($10, $25, etc.) she/he will become eligible to win prizes as part of our fundraiser, you will also know that you helped make a difference in the lives of countless other children who play ball, or will play ball, here at Snider Park.

For over 60 years NKLL has existed to serve the children and families in our area, we rely on donors and volunteers to keep us running and to serve another 60 years worth of families.

Thank you,
NKLL Board, Players and Families

Bat-A-Thon

For many years we’ve sold items such as our Brax cups and first aid kits, and while these are great fundraiser ideas, the participation percentage for our players was very low. To help everyone be included in our efforts, we hold a Bat-A-Thon that all of our teams - including T-ball, machine pitch, and Challengers - can participate in!

All players will have 5 baseball/softballs to hit off of a tee into zones marked in the outfield. Each zone has a different point value. After all 5 balls are batted, a tally will be completed and the point value given back to the participant. This score, combined with their fundraising amount, makes them eligible for prizes ranging from baseballs to playing gear!  For more details, see the bat-a-thon overview diagram below.

For 2019, our fundraising goal is $10,000.  Our fundraising focus this year is on accessibility improvements for our adults and players with disabilities.

If each player in our league fundraised $50 we would benefit from over $40,000 to make NKLL the best around.

Each player should complete and bring a Donation Form to the Bat-a-Thon!

Donations will be turned in on May 11th, following each team's Bat-a-Thon.  Checks should be made out to "NKLL".  Your donation may be tax-deductible; NKLL is a 501(c)(3) in good standing in Washington State and our EIN is 23-7225567.
