We are often asked, "Why fundraise? I paid my registration fee and that covers the cost." In an ideal world it would...but then your registration fee would be a lot higher! On average, it takes about $140,000 to operate Snider Park for a year, and that figure relies on volunteers to do all the heavy lifting. Thanks to concession stand income, grants, donations, sponsorships, and more, NKLL is able to cover the gap between what we receive in registration fees and the actual cost of operations.
For the 2026 season, we have several fundraisers planned, including "Takeover Nights" at local restaurants such as Oath Pizza, Red Robin, Dairy Queen, and Chipotle.
