Concessions General Info

Help Keep the Fun (and Snacks!) Going at Snider Park!

Our concession stand is more than just a place to grab a snack—it’s a big part of what makes game days at Snider Park fun for families and players. It’s also one of the key ways we keep registration fees affordable for everyone.

The best part? Our concessions are 100% run by amazing volunteers—parents, kids, and community members—who come together to make it all happen. Older kids can even earn volunteer hours to boost job or college resumes, and our younger players love helping out at the front counter!

Each team is asked to cover at least one shift during the season, and every extra set of hands makes a huge difference. Without volunteers, we sometimes have to close the stand during games, which means lost revenue and fewer treats for our families and fans.

Contact [email protected] for more information about how to sign up.

Team Concessions Requirement

Concession Stand Volunteer Information

Each team is responsible for working the front counter of the concession stand at least once each season.
No special training or food handler permit is needed—training will be provided when you arrive!

The concession stand is one of our biggest revenue sources, which helps keep registration fees low. Thank you for stepping up and making game days even better!

Volunteering? Here’s what you need to know:

  • Your team will be contacted for a time slot in the concession stand.

  • Arrive 15 minutes before your shift so you’re ready to go. If it’s your first time, we’ll give you a quick walkthrough.

  • Young helpers are welcome if they can lend a hand under your supervision! Please keep safety in mind and ensure they’re able to assist responsibly.

  • Only reliable teens (16+) who have been approved by the Concessions Manager may work an independent shift.

  • Keep snacks and drinks stocked during your shift.

  • Your team must cover the entire scheduled shift (or until relieved by the Concessions Manager) to receive volunteer credit.

  • If you can’t make your shift, it’s your responsibility to find a replacement who has completed the Little League Volunteer Application and background check. In case of an emergency, contact the Concessions Manager as soon as possible so we can find coverage. We must have two people per shift to keep the stand open!
